The truth? Moms show up.
Whether it’s a cup of sugar, a sitter, or a simple “I’ve been there too,” we know we weren’t meant to mother alone. And sometimes, the need goes deeper than friendship or a recommendation. That’s where we step in.
The 405 Care Committee is a mom-led initiative committed to strengthening our community by mobilizing moms to show up, give back, and care for our community in meaningful, tangible ways.
The 405 Care Committee is made up of moms who believe in building community through action and compassion. Together, we turn care into something organized, intentional, and impactful.

COMMUNICATIONS & STORYTELLING LEAD
The 405 Care Committee is supported by a team of volunteers who make it possible for our leadership to serve families with excellence, care, and integrity. While our committee leads organize the vision, partnerships, and systems behind the scenes, our volunteers step in to carry out the work — from sorting donations and shopping for families to helping on distribution days and supporting special projects. They are the hands and feet of every initiative, allowing our leadership team to stay focused on coordination, accountability, and long-term impact. Every act of care in the 405 is made possible by these women, who show up, follow through, and bring heart to the mission.

Late Spring 2026
A Spring Diaper, Wipe & Formula Drive hosted by 405 Moms Club
The 405 Baby Essentials Drive is a community-wide effort to support families with infants and toddlers in the Oklahoma City metro. Through the collection of diapers, wipes, formula, and basic baby care items, we provide practical relief to local moms who are navigating financial hardship, unexpected transitions, or growing family needs.
Diapers and formula are two of the most requested essentials for families with young children. This drive exists to close that gap by turning community generosity into direct, meaningful support for local babies and their caregivers.
Every donated item stays in the 405 and is distributed through 405 Moms Club’s community care network to families who need it most.

Late Summer 2026
A Back-to-School Drive hosted by 405 Moms Club
The 405 Backpack Project exists to make sure moms in our community can send their kids into a new school year feeling supported, prepared, and seen. We know how heavy back-to-school season can feel — the lists, the costs, the pressure to show up for your kids even when resources are stretched thin. Through this initiative, we provide backpacks, school supplies, and more to families who need a little extra help getting across the starting line. Families are approved on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to available sponsorships and funding, allowing us to move quickly, fairly, and with transparency.
Every family served is handled with dignity, privacy, and care, and every dollar donated goes directly toward meeting real, practical needs for 405 kids. This isn’t just about school supplies — it’s about reminding moms that they don’t have to do this alone, and that in this community, we show up for each other.

Fall 2026
A Thanksgiving Assistance Program hosted 405 Moms Club
The 405 Community Table is our Thanksgiving initiative, designed to ensure every family in the 405 has a warm meal, a full table, and a reminder that they are not alone this season. Last year, we brought our community together by matching families who wanted to give with families who needed support, allowing donors to purchase and deliver a complete Aldi Thanksgiving meal directly to a local family in need. This neighbor-to-neighbor model keeps generosity personal, dignified, and deeply meaningful — turning a simple grocery run into an act of connection. Whether you’re dropping off a turkey and sides or opening your door to receive them, The 405 Community Table exists to make sure every mom and every child feels seen, supported, and included around the holiday table.

Winter 2026
A Christmas Assistance Program hosted by 405 Moms Club
The 405 Giving Tree was designed to bring together joy, dignity, and generosity for families in our community during the holiday season. Similar to an angel tree, this program matches local families who want to give with children and moms who could use a little extra support at Christmas. Each ornament represents a real child with real wishes, allowing sponsors to shop intentionally, personally, and with heart. Whether it’s a winter coat, a favorite toy, or something that makes a child feel truly seen, every gift placed under The 405 Giving Tree is a reminder that this community shows up for its own — turning the spirit of Christmas into something tangible for families across the 405.
